Like most relationships that began in 2020, Jamie and Alec met on Hinge. After only one month of dating, they were officially a couple. Three months later, Alec told Jamie he was going to have to move to North Carolina for work. After less than one year in NYC, it was time for long distance. As they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder and Jamie and Alec moved in together when Alec was back in NYC.

Fast forward to February 8th, 2024. Jamie thought she was going to Don Angie to celebrate her brother's 30th birthday. When she arrived at the restaurant, the host took her to meet Alec where he popped the question!
